Jack Campbell – to play Sidney Hill
Jack is a seasoned Australian actor well known to audiences in Australia and New Zealand for his work in film and television spanning ten years. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the AFC (Australian Film Critic) awards for his role in ‘The Nostradamus Kid’ directed by Bob Ellis. His most recent film was Gabriel where he played an angel. Jack is currently starring in the popular tv series All Saints.
Jack was a core cast member of a New Zealand tv drama called City Life. City Life was shot on film and is still New Zealand’s most successful tv export, being sold to twenty three countries. Jack has worked on numerous Australian and new Zealand tv series and films such as Jackson’s Landing (lead), The Game Room (co-lead), Shortland Street (regular lead).

Gotaro Tsunashima - to play Captain Watanabe
Gotaro Tsunashima is one of the most exciting young Japanese actors to emerge in many years. Miramax responded to his screen test (for the role of Yamada in “The Great Raid”) by casting him immediately. Seeing his screen test for Japanese Story, Australian actor Toni Collette (About a Boy, Sixth Sense) also had no hesitation in declaring Gotaro was the one to play her co-lead.
