Born Vincent Malek, 3rd October 1960, Salzburg, Austria. Second son of Joseph Malek, 3rd generation Austrian industrialist. Emotionally abused by his step mother and father, Malek left Austria after being suspected of murdering his half brother in a hunting exhibition. Family’s connections assisted in burying the crime.
Suspected first backpacker kill 1979 Naples.
Committed first crime at 18. Protected by his brother Klaus, CEO of Malek Industries. Vincent disappeared for a year then made brief contact with the Malek representatives in Asia before moving underground for 10 years, finally reappearing in Miami Florida in the 90’s. Little is known of his movements in America during the 90’s, he reappeared on law enforcements radar in early 2000, when a 20-year-old girl was kidnapped and killed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fled the USA, surfaced briefly in Northern Australia where he then went underground. Modus operandi is linked to the disappearance of five backpackers in the North Of Australia.
Victimology: Targets backpackers, pre-meditated. They represent everything he was never allowed to become in youth. His methods include kidnapping, torture, murder.
Suspected Motive: Subliminally strives to satisfy his inner fantasy, unobtainable mothers love. Killing releases a brief closure of the pain and distance between his childhood and the mother he never knew.
Intelligence: Above average IQ, fluent in many languages. Charming when required, manipulative and ruthless. Will kill randomly to prevent discovery or capture. Proficient in fire arms and torture. Considered armed and extremely dangerous.
